Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Introduce yourself to your new colleagues on Slack!

• Get acquainted with the technologies and frameworks we utilize, and how we’ve tailored them to meet our specific needs (e.g. Typescript, Node, Postgres, Redis, Mathquill, ProseMirror, and our proprietary front-end framework).

• Collaborate with other teams (product, design, support, business) to contribute to your first user-facing feature.

• Begin engaging in pair programming and reviewing code from fellow engineers. You'll conduct thorough, thoughtful reviews while rapidly absorbing feedback on your own pull requests to understand team standards.

• Evolve into a dependable, independent contributor across various areas of the codebase, consistently enhancing our code to be more organized, clean, and robust.

• Assist our team in enhancing processes, including improving our internal tools and sharing insights and experiences with other team members.

• Recognize areas for growth as a professional software engineer and develop them through self-directed projects while adapting to the evolving software landscape.
