Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and create machine learning systems that analyze data sets from the largest consumer services globally.

• Utilize unsupervised machine learning, supervised machine learning, and deep learning techniques to identify fraudulent activities and apprehend fraudsters.

• Develop and enhance systems, tools, and validation strategies to facilitate new features.

• Assist in the design and development of distributed real-time systems and functionalities.

• Implement big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra) to construct large-scale machine learning pipelines.

• Create new systems utilizing real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink).

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in software development.

• 1-5 years of experience with Java, Shell, and Python programming.

• Strong understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Cassandra, HBase, Flink, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.

• Experience with the Spring Framework is desirable.

• Background in test-driven development is beneficial.

• Experience working on multithreaded applications.

• Proficient in Shell and Python.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of CUDA development is a plus.
