This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and enhance mobile and web applications that streamline the implant supply chain.
• Design, create, test, and implement modular cloud-based systems.
• Architect technical solutions and convert product objectives into manageable tasks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams on technical strategies.
• Create responsive, scalable, reliable, and robust software solutions.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations for Casechek’s SaaS platform.
• Optimize applications and services for performance on both web and mobile platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing practices, and engineering standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development best practices.
• Engage in Agile development utilizing Scrum methodologies.
• Enhance engineering processes, tools, and development techniques.
• Lead special projects as requested.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
• Over 5 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Professional experience in developing applications using NestJS.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Background in supporting and troubleshooting an AWS-hosted SaaS product.
• Experience in building scalable, high-performance, and reliable software solutions.
• Familiarity with relational database technologies, data modeling, and database design.
• Experience in an Agile or Scrum software development environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Attention to detail and dedication to clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
