This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality Android applications utilizing Kotlin.

• Create engaging mobile experiences across various sectors, including insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end user experiences.

• Integrate backend APIs while maintaining application stability, scalability, and reliability.

• Enhance application performance by minimizing ANRs, crashes, memory usage, and battery consumption.

• Leverage analytics, production insights, and customer feedback to continuously refine the product.

• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences that offer significant value to users.

• Contribute to engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and ongoing improvement.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in Android software engineering with Kotlin.

• Extensive experience in building, deploying, and maintaining production-level Android applications.

• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).

• Solid grasp of software engineering principles, mobile architecture, and clean code practices.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.

• Comfortable working within a fully remote and distributed engineering team.

• Demonstrated ownership, rapid execution, and dedication to engineering excellence.

• GitHub, Google Play links, or examples of deployed applications are highly preferred.
