This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

• Design, develop, and launch high-quality Android applications utilizing Kotlin.

• Create user-friendly mobile experiences within the realms of insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to provide seamless end-to-end user experiences.

• Integrate backend APIs while maintaining application stability, scalability, and reliability.

• Enhance application performance by minimizing ANRs, crashes, memory usage, and battery consumption.

• Leverage analytics, production insights, and customer feedback for ongoing product improvement.

• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences that deliver significant value to users.

• Promote engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in Android software engineering using Kotlin.

• Extensive experience in building, launching, and maintaining production-level Android applications.

• Strong grasp of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).

• Solid comprehension of software engineering principles, mobile architecture, and clean coding practices.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.

• Comfortable working within a distributed, fully remote engineering team.

• Demonstrates strong ownership, swift execution, and a commitment to engineering excellence.

• Links to GitHub, Google Play, or examples of shipped applications are highly preferred.
