This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality Android applications utilizing Kotlin.

• Create user-friendly mobile experiences in the areas of insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to provide seamless end-to-end user experiences.

• Integrate backend APIs while ensuring the application's stability, scalability, and reliability.

• Enhance application performance by minimizing ANRs, crashes, memory usage, and battery consumption.

• Leverage analytics, production insights, and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements.

• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences that offer significant value to users.

• Contribute to engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and ongoing improvement.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Android software engineering with Kotlin.

• Extensive experience in building, launching, and maintaining production-level Android applications.

• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture patterns (MVVM/Clean Architecture).

• Solid grasp of software engineering principles, mobile architecture, and clean coding practices.

• Experience with integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.

• Comfortable working within a distributed, fully remote engineering team.

• Demonstrates strong ownership, swift execution, and a commitment to engineering excellence.

• GitHub, Google Play links, or examples of published applications are highly preferred.
