Android Developer – Finance Super App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Design and implement Android features utilizing Kotlin.

• Create seamless mobile experiences across insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to streamline complex user journeys.

• Integrate backend APIs, ensuring that mobile applications are stable, reliable, and perform well.

• Enhance app performance by minimizing ANRs, crashes, memory usage, and battery consumption.

• Leverage analytics, production insights, and user feedback for ongoing product enhancements.

• Develop AI-enhanced mobile experiences that genuinely improve the user journey.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code while participating in code reviews and adhering to engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.

• Proven track record of building and launching production Android applications.

• Strong familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture patterns.

• Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and user flows.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fully remote engineering environment.

• High level of ownership, quick execution, and meticulous attention to quality.

• GitHub, Google Play links, or examples of shipped applications are highly desirable.
