This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop software in an AI-native manner, steering agents and LLMs based on specifications while maintaining complete technical ownership of the results.
• Define, orchestrate, review, and take responsibility for the code created by both humans and agents.
• Lead the Spec-Driven Development process, transforming requirements into executable specifications and contextual artifacts such as /specify and /plan.
• Adjust AI's progressive autonomy in relation to risk and the maturity of the context.
• Engage in Augmented Pull Requests, assessing syntax, intent, acceptance criteria, technical decisions, and functional implications.
• Contribute to the knowledge layer and reusable contexts, including skills, patterns, architectural decisions, and connectors/MCPs.
• Implement architectural and engineering best practices to produce clean, testable, and maintainable code in both monolithic and distributed systems.
• Aid in automated testing and observability, including monitoring the quality and cost of AI outputs.
• Minimize rework and technical debt.
• Collaborate in value-driven teams utilizing agile methodologies, including code review, pair programming, and mob programming.
• Share insights and receive mentorship from seasoned professionals.
• Partner with the largest construction firm in Latin America, contributing to digital solutions, GenAI, Low Code, and AI tools for the organization.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Python and proven ability to work with various technologies using AI support.
• Full-stack experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Spec-Driven Development: crafting clear specifications, breaking them down into verifiable plans, and establishing acceptance criteria.
• Context Engineering for LLMs: formulating instructions, constraints, examples, tool/MCP selection, and managing context-window control.
• Ethical application of Generative AI and agentive tools in development, with systematic human oversight.
• Capability to assess, validate, and amend AI-generated and third-party code.
• Skill in writing high-quality, well-structured, and testable code, with a solid understanding of OOP and design principles.
• Experience with automated unit and/or integration testing.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration through Pull Requests.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and fundamentals of data modeling.
• Experience with agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Plus: experience in agent orchestration and MCPs/connectors; evaluation and observability of AI output; distributed architectures, microservices or messaging; CI/CD; cloud and containers; LlamaIndex; LangChain; RAG; Tools; MCP; Streamlit; asynchronous and parallel processes and queues; Pandas; N8N; SAP HANA automation; GCP; Azure DevOps.
