Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Identify innovative sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to incorporate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on optimizing data quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and aid in the development of next-generation models.

• Assume responsibility for engineering projects from the initial problem identification through to implementation and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in creating and maintaining production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach and capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Familiarity with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with GCP and Terraform, is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality assurance, or audio processing is desirable.
