Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services that support AI and LLM-driven applications

• Create and execute APIs, data flows, and service integrations

• Implement LLM-based workflows (prompting, retrieval, orchestration, evaluations) in production

• Deploy and manage services with an emphasis on low latency, high availability, and robustness

• Design and oversee infrastructure (containerization, cloud services, CI/CD)

• Contribute to voice-enabled systems (STT/TTS, streaming APIs) as part of user experiences

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

• Work closely with founders and product stakeholders to transform vague requirements into scalable software

• Take ownership of features and services from initial design through to production support

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering or backend-centric roles

• Strong expertise in Python

• Experience in designing and constructing APIs and backend architectures

• Practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps fundamentals (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS/Lambda, observability, basic security)

• Passion for AI-driven systems, including voice and conversational interfaces

• Robust systems and architecture reasoning, with a practical approach to trade-offs

• Capability to work with incomplete specifications and make independent, sound engineering decisions
