Software Engineer 4 – Revenue Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and Revenue Finance.

• Design and enhance architectures capable of handling large volumes of data.

• Construct highly configurable pipelines that support global workflows for intricate financial operations.

• Develop infrastructure for integrating revenue ads, settlement, and cash reconciliation for Netflix subscription payments.

• Generate invoices for bundle partners.

• Create workflows for revenue partners.

• Acquire a thorough understanding of upstream and downstream systems and processes.

• Influence data model design and evaluate its impact on interconnected systems.

• Provide innovative solutions with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms with expertise in server-side development.

• Solid background in distributed data processing, software engineering design, and data modeling principles.

• Proficient in Java, Scala, or any other JVM-based language.

• Skilled in gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation.

• Familiar with Pub-Sub systems (Kafka).

• Experience in Stream Processing (Spark/Flink, etc.).

• Expertise in addressing large data challenges.

• Proficient in building secure, scalable, and highly available distributed applications.

• Professional experience and interest in developing financial and monetization solutions.

• Understanding of the modern ad technology landscape with an emphasis on fintech.

• 4+ years of practical software engineering experience in constructing reliable and distributed systems critical to business operations.

• Ability to operate independently while delivering innovative solutions with minimal guidance.

• Proven history of achieving results in intricate cross-functional projects.
