Software Development Intern

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of contemporary software applications and services using Microsoft Azure to process criminal leads and employment verifications.

• Collaborate with partner vendors to facilitate smooth data exchange and cooperation.

• Work with the team to design, develop, and sustain databases, APIs, and user interfaces.

• Aid in the creation of JavaScript-based single-page applications employing frameworks such as Angular and Vue.js.

• Support the transition of legacy codebases to modern architectures.

• Engage with transactional databases to guarantee data integrity and performance.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging activities, and team discussions.

• Adhere to industry best practices for developing secure, efficient, and maintainable software.

• Additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field, or have graduated within the past year.

• Fundamental understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., C#, Java, Python).

• Familiarity with transactional databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks like Angular or Vue.js (academic or personal projects are acceptable).

• Strong eagerness to learn new technologies and assist in legacy code migration efforts.

• Problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficient communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
