Software Development Engineer – Pricing & Promotions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction within CVS Health’s Front Store business by utilizing advanced analytic solutions to refine merchandising and promotional decisions.

• Tackle complex challenges and provide decision support tools aimed at improving the customer experience.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify their needs and translate them into enhancement requirements or ad hoc analyses.

• Assist in shaping the roadmap for enterprise-level optimal promotion solutions by implementing sophisticated data science models through interactive user interfaces.

• Partner with data scientists, analysts, data engineers, and developers to facilitate solution upgrades and analyses.

• Design scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze vast amounts of structured and unstructured data within Palantir Foundry.

• Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and data governance policies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of software development experience in building and delivering customer-facing cloud-based analytic solutions.

• At least 1 year of end-to-end application development experience on Palantir Foundry or similar systems.

• Familiarity with Workshop, Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Ontology objects/actions, and TypeScript functions.

• Over 1 year of experience collaborating with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.

• At least 1 year of coding experience in Python, SQL, and LLM modeling.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience using cloud-based platforms including Azure, GCP, and AWS.

• A BA/BS degree is required.

• Preferred: 3+ years of software development experience.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in leading design, development, and deployment.

• Preferred: Expertise in Palantir Retail merchandising domain.

• Experience in building and delivering data and analytics solutions is a plus.

• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering; JavaScript is preferred.

• An MBA is preferred.
