Software Development Engineer II in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Creating and executing tests and frameworks for scalable, secure software while ensuring reliability and optimizing performance

• Working collaboratively with diverse teams to facilitate effective communication and code development

• Assessing and monitoring software performance within the Akamai ecosystem

• Gaining knowledge about our distributed systems, products, and the technical stack pertinent to your role

• Contributing to internal research initiatives, methodologies, and strategies to establish and disseminate best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess development experience with Python

• Have familiarity with the Linux environment and its internals (including networking and security)

• Demonstrate experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools and processes (such as Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, etc.)

• Hold solid knowledge of L2/L3 Computer Networks (including switching and routing)

• Understand the agile software development lifecycle thoroughly

• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
