Software Development Engineer II – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS or comparable frameworks.

• Design REST APIs that enhance customer-facing product functionalities.

• Collaborate with databases, caching mechanisms, and asynchronous processing.

• Enhance APIs and queries for optimal performance and scalability.

• Develop responsive and high-performance interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Create reusable components tailored for CRM experiences.

• Construct interfaces that manage lists, filters, search functions, files, notes, tags, and extensive datasets.

• Connect frontend applications seamlessly with backend APIs.

• Convert product requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Take ownership of features across the database, API, and UI layers.

• Engage in technical design discussions and API-contract negotiations.

• Test, deploy features, and monitor production performance.

• Write code that is maintainable and testable.

• Participate in code review processes.

• Troubleshoot frontend and backend production issues.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, and usability of current features.

• Contribute to monitoring and observability initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development.

• An AI-first approach during design, development, and debugging.

• Strong foundational knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Backend development experience with Node.js.

• Frontend development experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular.

• Proficient in designing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of component-based frontend architecture.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.

• Solid understanding of debugging processes for both frontend and backend.

• Capability to independently deliver medium-complexity features.

• Experience in developing high-scale SaaS products.

• Knowledge of Vue 2/Vue 3 and state management libraries like Pinia/Redux.

• Experience with NestJS.

• Familiarity with MongoDB/Firestore.

• Knowledge of Redis.

• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP.

• Understanding of micro-frontend architecture.

• Experience with event-driven systems.

• Awareness of accessibility and internationalization standards.
