Software Development Engineer II – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy high-quality frontend features for CRM Tasks utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Convert product requirements and design specifications into scalable and maintainable frontend solutions.

• Take full ownership of features from technical design and development through to testing, release, and production monitoring.

• Create reusable components, composables, utilities, and frontend abstractions.

• Design state-management and data-fetching patterns for intricate product workflows.

• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

• Manage complex UI states, including loading, errors, optimistic updates, pagination, filtering, permissions, and large datasets.

• Enhance application performance, responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for key user journeys.

• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, monitoring tools, browser profiling, and observability techniques.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams while maintaining delivery ownership.

• Identify opportunities to streamline the codebase and enhance customer experience.

• Independently deliver medium-to-large scale frontend features from requirement gathering to production.

• Gradually assume responsibility for more extensive areas of the CRM frontend architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in frontend engineering, specifically in creating production web applications.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Significant experience with a modern frontend framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.

• Solid understanding of component architecture, state management, routing, and frontend application design principles.

• Experience in integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of browser fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and client-side performance optimization.

• Capability to translate product and design requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

• Proficiency in debugging complex frontend issues utilizing browser developer tools and observability platforms.

• Familiarity with frontend testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to independently manage moderately complex features.

• Preferred: Extensive experience with Vue.js / Vue 3.

• Preferred: Experience in developing complex SaaS, CRM, productivity, task management, or workflow products.

• Preferred: Background working with large datasets, virtualized lists, complex tables, filters, search functionalities, drag-and-drop, or Kanban-style interfaces.

• Preferred: Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.

• Preferred: Experience with component libraries or design systems.

• Preferred: Familiarity with frontend observability and monitoring tools.

• Preferred: Understanding of Node.js and the ability to comprehend or debug backend APIs.

• Preferred: Experience with automated E2E testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
