Software Development Engineer II – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of frontend features related to Opportunities in Vue.js, encompassing pipeline boards, deal details, stage and pipeline configurations, filters, saved views, bulk actions, and reporting interfaces.

• Create seamless interactions such as drag-and-drop stage movements, inline edits, optimistic updates, rollbacks, and error management.

• Enhance the performance of large pipelines through virtualization, windowing, pagination, lazy loading, rendering optimizations, bundle-size reductions, and improved time to first meaningful paint.

• Design and uphold client-side state and data-fetching methodologies utilizing Pinia/Vuex, along with caching and invalidation strategies.

• Manage live updates, stale-data identification, and conflict resolution processes.

• Render dynamic customer-defined schemas, custom fields, custom objects, and workspace settings.

• Develop reusable components and contribute to a shared design system.

• Collaborate directly with product and design teams based on provided designs.

• Extend NestJS APIs, minimize over-fetching, and modify payloads as necessary.

• Author component, unit, and end-to-end tests.

• Implement error tracking, real-user performance monitoring, and event data instrumentation in the frontend.

• Ensure accessibility, keyboard navigation support, responsive designs, and consistent cross-browser functionality.

• Engage in on-call duties, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in postmortem analyses.

• Create design documentation and take part in design and code evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and deploying production frontend applications.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proficiency in a component framework; Vue is preferred, or React with a willingness to work in Vue.

• Experience with complex, stateful user interfaces.

• Practical understanding of frontend performance aspects, such as rendering costs, lengthy lists, network waterfalls, bundle size, and profiling techniques.

• Comfortable with consuming and debugging REST APIs.

• Confidence in working within a backend codebase like Node.js/NestJS or similar technologies.

• Strong CSS and layout capabilities.

• Proven experience in delivering and supporting features from design through to deployment.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive tasks to completion.

• Preferred: familiarity with board, kanban, table, grid, or calendar interfaces that involve drag-and-drop functionality and manage large data sets.

• Preferred: experience with CRM, sales, pipeline, or workflow products.

• Preferred: background in dynamic or schema-driven user interfaces.

• Preferred: experience in real-time or collaborative interface development.

• Preferred: experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of Vue 3, Pinia, Vite, and familiarity with Playwright or Cypress.

• Preferred: backend experience with Node.js/NestJS and MongoDB.

• Preferred: a portfolio or GitHub showcasing completed work.
