Software Development Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire lifecycle of features, from gathering requirements and collaborating on UI/UX to backend API integration and deployment.

• Work closely with product and design teams to develop features that address user challenges.

• Create clean, efficient, and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend methodologies.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js/Express, well-structured APIs, and data models.

• Utilize analytics and product metrics to assess feature effectiveness and make iterative improvements.

• Enhance engineering processes, developer experience, or user engagement.

• Uphold code quality through strong architecture, thorough testing, and comprehensive documentation.

• Tackle technical debt and engage in refactoring or migration projects.

• Participate in planning and execution in alignment with rapidly evolving product priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fullstack development.

• Proven ability to take features or systems from inception to adoption.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, modern state management, and component-based architecture.

• Extensive knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, and databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

• Capacity to evaluate product trade-offs, collaborate with PM/design, and advocate for user interests.

• Enthusiasm for metrics and making data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Demonstrated history of taking the initiative to resolve issues beyond assigned tasks.
