Software Development Engineer – Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain features for Azure CLI utilizing Python or Azure PowerShell with C#.

• Produce clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

• Engage in code reviews and support engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with international teams to provide high-quality solutions.

• Participate in open-source development and CI/CD workflows.

• Contribute to developer tools that facilitate cloud infrastructure and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 2 years of software development experience.

• Profound knowledge of Python for CLI or C# for PowerShell.

• Strong skills in problem-solving and design.

• A demonstrated commitment to quality, performance, and engineering excellence.

• Familiarity with open-source development methodologies.

• Proficient in English (writing, reading, listening, and speaking).

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools is preferred.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred.

• Experience with automation and DevOps tools (Git) to support and manage CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities with complex technical systems is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server systems is preferred.
