This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Engage in the complete software development life cycle, troubleshooting applications and configuring existing systems.
• Develop robust and dependable solutions while collaborating with a team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to achieve software development objectives.
• Participate in the analysis of requirements, remain open to innovative ideas, and keep abreast of the latest tools and technologies.
• Work alongside internal teams to create software design, architecture, and design documentation (both high-level and low-level).
• Write clean, scalable code utilizing C#, SQL, .NET technologies, and other web and middleware technologies.
• Implement and integrate APIs to facilitate data exchange among various components or systems.
• Review, update, refactor, and debug code; participate in code reviews while adhering to best practices.
• Enhance existing software applications and provide technical support.
• Generate documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Exhibit tact and discretion in all communications, contributing positively to the department's morale.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with unit staff, clients, providers, and other departments.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a .NET Developer, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Experience in developing full-stack (backend, frontend, and database) web-based applications.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
• Preferred experience with HTML5, Angular, Node, React, Rabbit MQ, MS SQL, SignalR, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Preferable knowledge in .NET Core, APIs (REST & GraphQL), Microservices, Windows Services, Event-Driven design, Async processing, Multi-Threading, and Cloud technologies.
• Database Management: Strong SQL skills and familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server or MySQL.
• API Development: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs utilizing technologies like Web API.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Familiarity and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Cloud Services: Understanding of integrating applications with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Testing and troubleshooting skills: Ability to write unit tests, debug, and ensure code quality.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level integrations using middleware technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
