This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create new software solutions and web applications while enhancing existing ones in a Linux-based system environment.

• Develop and refine data-processing and automation workflows.

• Implement web and data-crawling solutions for automated data generation.

• Collaborate with Product Management to analyze business requirements, estimate efforts, and define technical concepts.

• Produce scalable, robust, and maintainable software components.

• Design and further enhance database structures and interfaces.

• Create automated testing procedures to ensure high software quality.

• Contribute to the development of new product features and customer-specific solutions.

• Provide third-level technical support after successful onboarding.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, the development team, and other stakeholders.

• Continuously enhance development processes, technologies, and system architectures.

• Process, analyze, and manage large volumes of data as part of the Smart Data team.

• Automate complex processes and actively contribute to the technological progression of the products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT field.

• Proven experience in software development using Python, Perl, PHP, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of Linux or Unix systems.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, or MSSQL.

• Ideally, knowledge of web applications, web services, or distributed system architectures.

• Initial experience with contemporary development processes and tools like Git, CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Interest in cloud and container technologies such as Azure, AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Open to using modern AI-assisted development tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.

• Excellent German language skills and proficient English skills, both written and spoken.

• Analytical mindset with a structured approach to technical challenges.

• Strong commitment to quality and the ability to work independently.

• Team-oriented with outstanding communication skills and a passion for collaborative problem-solving.
