This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Design and lead internal Quality Programs.
β’ Develop SDLC observability pipelines.
β’ Establish and uphold stringent metrics.
β’ Create Shift-Left Pipeline Gates architecture.
β’ Implement Real-World Load Testing.
β’ Engineer Synthetic Data and Production Canaries.
β’ Utilize Generative AI Tooling.
β’ Promote Tooling Consolidation initiatives.
β’ Assist in defining and maintaining development practices.
β’ You possess over 5 years of experience in software with expertise in one or more popular programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
β’ You have experience working at a systems level with contemporary developer infrastructure and production telemetry, capable of querying, combining, and processing data from tool APIs.
β’ You have personally implemented key quality metrics, including Change Failure Rate, Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Time to Restore, Regression Rate, Release Failure Rate, PR-failure rate, code review depth, or SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
β’ You maintain a strong product-oriented mindset, valuing outcomes over output.
β’ You have experience in building and refactoring complex (often distributed) systems and have familiarity with declarative infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment patterns.
β’ You are experienced with public cloud platforms such as GCP and/or AWS.
β’ You have practical experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, Locust, Gatling, JMeter are all acceptable).
β’ You possess AI experience regarding testing tools and architecture.
β’ You exhibit excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
