Software Developer, C++ – Embedded Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Continued enhancement of Linux-based remote terminal units for essential energy supply infrastructure.

• Ongoing maintenance and advancement of C/C++ drivers and hardware-adjacent applications within a Yocto-based Linux environment.

• Collaboration with the hardware engineering team.

• Management of GitLab-based Continuous Integration.

• Creation of scripts, tools, and SDKs for commissioning, testing, and developing embedded applications.

• Support of software across its entire lifecycle—from development and release to series production and end-user operation.

• Participation in architectural decision-making.

• Keeping abreast of technological advancements.

• Ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in embedded programming using C and C++.

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Familiarity with Yocto is a plus.

• Proficiency in Git and contemporary software development practices.

• Experience with Scrum methodologies is advantageous.

• Strong initiative and creativity.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
