Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop, document, consume, and integrate APIs within development, testing, and production environments that support the Credit Union's Software Platform (both on-premise and cloud-based).

• Create Widgets and Microservices for Online Banking SDK Development.

• Build functional databases, applications, and servers to enhance website back-end support.

• Engage in agile ceremonies.

• Adhere to requirements to devise effective solutions.

• Assist in documenting code and development workflows.

• Construct applications on web-based platforms.

• Experience in developing applications utilizing the latest AI technologies is preferred.

• Well-versed in current software development technologies.

• Knowledgeable in project source control technologies.

• Familiarity with security and encryption protocols.

• Follow standardized procedures for efficient and prompt management of all development requests.

• Comply with all regulatory training, including BSA/AML/OFAC and overall BSA/AML/OFAC compliance.

• Participate in a monthly on-call rotation.

• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient understanding of .NET architecture and object-oriented programming using C# or VB.NET.

• Desired knowledge of XML/XSLT, SOAP, and Web Services.

• Familiar with Web Technologies, including ASP.NET, CSS, and HTML.

• Understanding of client-side scripting, such as JavaScript or jQuery.

• Knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS packages is advantageous.

• Experience utilizing IDEs for enhanced productivity.

• Awareness of RESTful APIs and their functionalities.

• Symitar: Familiarity with PowerOn, OpCon, SymXchange, SymConnect, and ARCU.
