This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop cutting-edge features for products in the marine industry.

• Create, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies.

• Improve front-end functionality and user experience by enhancing Vue.js interfaces.

• Optimize databases utilizing PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA teams, and fellow developers.

• Deliver high-quality solutions that align with business requirements.

• Conduct thorough code reviews.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across full-stack applications.

• Provide support to other developers.

• Adhere to software development best practices.

• Engage in synchronous communication with teams in Canada, ensuring a minimum of four hours of overlap with core working hours in British Columbia.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency in C#, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue, HTML5, and CSS/Less.

• Extensive experience in .NET development, including C# and .NET Core/.NET 8.

• Expertise in front-end development with Vue.js (either Vue 2 or Vue 3).

• Experience in database management with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging capabilities across full-stack applications.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and project managers.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication.

• Ability to comprehend complex code and systems with guidance from senior engineers and contribute back meaningfully.

• Capacity to convey usability and technical concepts while proactively raising questions or concerns.

• Interest in understanding the business context and customer requirements.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute effectively.

• Flexibility to adapt to various working styles, including agile methodologies.

• Capability to operate independently on modules and deliver high-quality tasks.

• Familiarity with Slack and JIRA.
