This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, create, and oversee mission-critical solutions for internal Security Services teams.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to identify issues and iteratively develop solutions.
• Provide high-value services that assist Security Services teams in safeguarding global customers.
• Continuously enhance solutions to improve stakeholder effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Engage with AI technologies and expand technical expertise.
• Develop within the Cybersecurity Operations domain.
• Deliver software through a well-established CI/CD pipeline.
• Address engineering challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance, latency, throughput, and cost-effectiveness in cloud-native environments.
• Construct and manage complex web applications at scale.
• Deliver production systems from start to finish and lead intricate technical projects independently.
• Build and launch cloud services.
• Create complete applications, execute complex designs, write high-performing, testable code, resolve bugs, and conduct ongoing maintenance.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, constructing, and managing complex web applications at scale.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted development with the ability to critically assess AI-generated output.
• Experience in delivering production systems end-to-end and leading intricate technical projects autonomously.
• Strong programming capabilities in one or more languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
• Experience in building and deploying services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable working within microservices architectures and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming and messaging platforms is a plus.
• Enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team.
• Experience in building and delivering complete applications, executing complex designs, writing organized, testable, high-performing code, resolving bugs, and conducting ongoing maintenance.
