Software Asset Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing intricate software licensing, compliance, and optimization projects utilizing the ServiceNow SAM platform.

• Steering end-to-end license reconciliation processes for complex vendors.

• Evaluating and validating Effective License Position (ELP) through ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Recognizing and addressing compliance risks.

• Offering strategic advice on vendor licensing, contract renewals, and negotiations.

• Leading the preparation and response efforts for vendor audits.

• Ensuring the implementation and enforcement of software asset data management.

• Promoting effective utilization of ServiceNow SAM features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM).

• Familiarity with the ServiceNow Platform.

• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS).

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

• More than 5 years of experience as an Enterprise Software Asset Manager, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• High-level proficiency in the capabilities of ServiceNow SAM Pro.

• Competence in managing the SAM module, inclusive of SaaS License Management.

• Understanding the interplay between SAM, ITOM, and CMDB systems.

• Experience with automation and integration across IT management platforms using ServiceNow Pro Plus AI Agents.

• Robust knowledge of software licensing models and compliance obligations.

• Preferred certification: Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).
