Software Architekt – Embedded, Industrial Software Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will continuously enhance the overall architecture of our software platform.

• You will define sustainable architectural concepts for embedded software, desktop applications, and backend components.

• You will evaluate new technologies and make informed architectural decisions regarding scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• You will establish development standards, architectural principles, and best practices for software development.

• You will assist the development team with complex technical questions.

• You will design the communication between embedded software, application software, databases, and external customer systems.

• You will develop forward-looking concepts for cloud applications and deployment processes.

• You will collaborate closely with software development, hardware development, application, and product management teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

• At least seven years of professional experience in software development.

• Several years of responsibility for the architecture of complex software solutions or technical systems.

• Experience in developing modular, maintainable, and long-term extensible software architectures.

• Solid experience in object-oriented software development.

• Excellent knowledge of C++.

• Good knowledge of C and Python.

• Experience in software architecture, API design, and system integration.

• Knowledge of modern development tools, version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Proficient in German at a minimum C1 level or native-level German.

• Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
