This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in establishing the architecture for new solutions while maintaining existing architectures; guide developers in utilizing design patterns and assist in selecting appropriate technologies for specific developments.

• Support the integration (packaging) and merging of builds being developed concurrently.

• Comprehend client requirements and design tailored architectures to fulfill those needs.

• Develop comprehensive plans that take into account security, scalability, availability, and performance.

• Ensure that the project scope, context, and constraints are documented and approved.

• Facilitate stakeholder decision-making by providing relevant information and aligning it with overarching objectives.

• Define and document the system's structure and layout.

• Establish and document strategies, standards, guidelines, etc., to direct system construction.

• Ensure that the architecture addresses the system's quality attributes.

• Create the architectural documentation.

• Provide technical leadership throughout the development process.

• Stay engaged during the entire development lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or completion of any undergraduate degree paired with a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.

• DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS: TOGAF, OSA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.

• Preferred experience: 3 years in Java backend development and software engineering practices with an emphasis on quality and automation.

• Proficient in Java programming (JEE, Spring, JPA, Velocity), and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, JMeter.

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools including Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube.

• Knowledge of design patterns (Design Patterns, Microservices Patterns).

• Understanding of DevOps concepts and version control systems (Git, SVN).

• Knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and SQL.

• Basic understanding of Linux and the Eclipse IDE.
