Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance application, data, and cloud architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable full-stack solutions utilizing React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.

• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns that ensure secure, maintainable, and extensible solutions.

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, indexing strategies, and performance tuning methodologies.

• Establish cloud architecture standards across various AWS services.

• Architect and deliver embedded analytics solutions using AWS QuickSight, which includes dashboard design, row-level security, and data modeling.

• Drive architecture reviews, technology decisions, and engineering standards focusing on scalability, resiliency, security, and observability.

• Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions and roadmaps.

• Advocate for Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and deployment best practices using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design to production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing and developing web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

• Experience in developing APIs and backend services with Node.js, NestJS, Express, or similar frameworks.

• Experience in designing and supporting PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including at least three of EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, or QuickSight.

• Experience acting as a technical lead, solution architect, or primary design authority for at least one production software application.

• Experience in designing or supporting multi-tenant SaaS applications and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience in implementing embedded analytics solutions using AWS QuickSight, including dashboard embedding, datasets, and row-level security.

• Experience in developing applications with Next.js, including App Router, server components, middleware, and API routes.

• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar automation tools.

• Experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, RBAC, or related security frameworks.

• Experience supporting platforms in telecommunications, messaging, compliance-driven, or other highly regulated sectors.

• Successful completion of a drug test may be required where permitted by state law.
