Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and refine scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures that support business objectives.

• Establish architectural frameworks, technical standards, and engineering best practices for solutions based on .NET.

• Lead the documentation of architecture, including system diagrams, design choices, and integration plans.

• Perform architecture reviews across teams and provide well-structured technical feedback.

• Promote the adoption of best practices in .NET Core / .NET 6+ development.

• Provide guidance to teams on advanced C# concepts and design patterns.

• Set and uphold standards for RESTful API design and implementation.

• Mentor and support senior and mid-level developers.

• Design and supervise relational database architectures utilizing SQL Server or comparable systems.

• Establish standards for data modeling, query optimization, and transaction management.

• Ensure database performance, scalability, and integrity across various environments.

• Assess data access patterns and ORM usage, including Entity Framework.

• Architect integrations between internal and external systems.

• Formulate strategies for microservices, event-driven architecture, or SOA as applicable.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure solutions are cloud-ready, preferably on Azure.

• Participate in the design of CI/CD pipelines and foster a DevSecOps culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in .NET technologies and SQL.

• Proficient in .NET Core / .NET 6+ and ASP.NET Core Web API.

• Advanced skills in C#, including LINQ, async/await, generics, reflection, and dependency injection.

• Solid understanding of design patterns such as SOLID, DDD, CQRS, Repository, and Mediator.

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience with event-driven architectures like Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka is an advantage.

• Familiarity with GraphQL in .NET applications is a plus.

• Understanding of Identity Server, JWT, and OAuth 2.0 is beneficial.

• Experience with CQRS and MediatR patterns is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles is a plus.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) is beneficial.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, and Grafana is an advantage.
