This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Offer specialized guidance on testing protocols, procedures, and results to resolve customer inquiries.
• Diagnose technical issues and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective and timely solutions.
• Act as the technical intermediary between clients and the Eurofins global network, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Keep abreast of current regulatory, safety, and quality performance standards (e.g., CPSIA, Prop 65).
• Relay pertinent regulatory updates and compliance guidelines to both clients and internal teams.
• Aid clients in formulating and revising specifications and procedures for both new and existing products.
• Engage in retailers’ seasonal product line reviews and product development meetings to pinpoint potential issues and provide technical suggestions.
• Assist clients on special initiatives, including system enhancements and material development procedures, while also training their teams.
• Conduct periodic training sessions for internal business development (BD) teams, imparting technical updates and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, BD, Operations) to ensure technical services align with overall business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Textile Chemistry, Textiles, Fiber, Polymer Science, or a closely related field.
• Experience with softlines or hardlines products.
• Background in textiles.
• Experience in Consumer Products.
• Established experience collaborating with industry standards organizations and technical committees such as ASTM, AATCC, AAFA, and JPMA.
• Proven track record in product integrity or quality assurance within textiles, footwear, or chemicals.
• Knowledge of CPSIA, Prop 65, and other consumer product regulations—or a strong desire and aptitude to learn these regulations.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
