Social Media Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Edit concise LinkedIn videos, typically ranging from 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

• Transform raw footage into polished and captivating social media content.

• Incorporate captions, callouts, zoom effects, screenshots, charts, and basic motion graphics.

• Apply clean and consistent color grading to ensure a refined appearance.

• Enhance audio quality through fundamental sound design and leveling techniques.

• Present complex business and data-driven topics in a clear and visually appealing manner.

• Craft compelling openings that engage viewers within the first few seconds.

• Convert longer recordings into succinct clips.

• Uphold a clean, premium, and data-focused brand aesthetic.

• Communicate effectively with a U.S.-based team and respond positively to feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional video editing experience.

• A strong portfolio showcasing social media videos.

• Exceptional understanding of pacing, storytelling, captions, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience in editing talking-head, educational, or business content.

• Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar software.

• Good command of written English.

• Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Nice to have: Experience with B2B, SaaS, marketing, design, or tech-related content.

• Nice to have: Skills in motion graphics or After Effects.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with editing styles for LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Nice to have: Interest in A/B testing, CRO, UX, or digital marketing.
