Social Media Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Edit concise LinkedIn videos, typically ranging from 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging social media content.

• Incorporate captions, callouts, zooms, screenshots, charts, and simple motion graphics.

• Apply clean and consistent color grading to achieve a refined appearance.

• Enhance audio quality with basic sound design and leveling techniques.

• Simplify business and data-intensive topics to make them clear and visually appealing.

• Develop strong openings that capture viewers' attention within the first few seconds.

• Repurpose longer recordings into shorter clips for better engagement.

• Uphold a clean, premium, data-driven brand aesthetic.

• Communicate effectively with a U.S.-based team and respond positively to feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience.

• Strong portfolio showcasing social media video projects.

• Excellent understanding of pacing, storytelling, captions, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience in editing educational, talking-head, or business-related content.

• Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar software.

• Good command of written English.

• Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Nice to have: Experience with B2B, SaaS, marketing, design, or tech content.

• Nice to have: Skills in motion graphics or After Effects.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with editing styles for LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Nice to have: Interest in A/B testing, CRO, UX, or digital marketing.
