Social Media Specialist – Advanced Surgical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Responsible for executing organic social strategies for the business unit, which includes managing content calendars, scheduling, and publishing frequencies across approved platforms.

• Creates, revises, and tailors social media copy in accordance with established messaging and content standards.

• Oversees review and approval processes to ensure adherence to internal standards.

• Aligns social media posts with campaign milestones, landing pages, and conversion objectives in collaboration with campaign managers.

• Maintains global social governance, including naming conventions, UTM tracking for links, asset management, and platform best practices.

• Tracks and analyzes performance metrics such as reach, engagement, clicks, and video views, providing actionable insights for enhancements.

• Aids regional execution by distributing templates, suggested copy, and content packages for localization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

• 0–2 years of marketing experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent professional experience.

• Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Familiarity with social media platforms, content calendars, and social analytics.

• Degree concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in managing organic social calendars, copywriting, and social publishing/reporting is preferred.

• Background in supporting regulated, healthcare, or B2B commercial content environments is preferred.

• Experience as a Sprout Social Admin is preferred.
