This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the social media strategy, brand voice, and content schedule across LinkedIn, X, and other pertinent platforms.
• Create, design (with assistance), and disseminate daily/weekly content, including product announcements, thought leadership articles, event summaries, memes, and posts from employees and founders.
• Enhance and engage Neo Security's channels by responding to comments and direct messages, and fostering connections with security practitioners, researchers, and influencers in the industry.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing for product launches and campaign promotion, and with Field Marketing to highlight events, webinars, and conference activities in real time.
• Implement an executive/employee advocacy and ghostwriting initiative to assist founders and subject-matter experts in developing their personal brands and amplifying company content.
• Observe social and industry discussions for immediate engagement possibilities (news updates, breaches, research, memes) and coordinate rapid-response content when appropriate.
• Monitor and report on channel metrics (followers, engagement, reach, click-through rates, and social-sourced pipelines) and leverage data to enhance strategy.
• Oversee relationships with any social/design agencies, freelancers, or contractors contributing to content creation.
• Stay updated on platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging channels, and advise on potential investment areas for Neo Security.
• Ensure that all social content adheres to brand voice and guidelines while maintaining credibility as a security company (accuracy, tone, and professionalism are crucial).
• 3-5+ years of experience managing social media for a B2B SaaS, technology, or security company, with a portfolio showcasing channels you've developed and content you've created.
• Exceptional writing abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for adjusting tone and voice across various formats (short-form posts, threads, video scripts, captions).
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn and X best practices for a technically adept, security-focused audience — you know what drives engagement on security Twitter/X and LinkedIn.
• Proficient in using social analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, native platform analytics).
• Comfortable collaborating closely with executives and engineers to source, craft, and ghostwrite content on their behalf.
• Basic design capabilities or ability to brief a designer/use tools like Canva or Figma to create on-brand visuals.
• Capacity to work independently, manage a dynamic daily content calendar, and respond swiftly to real-time trends or news.
