This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
• Take charge of and implement Dutch’s social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels.
• Generate and share engaging content including short-form videos, static posts, reactive material, and trend-focused pieces.
• Collaborate with the Creative and Content teams to produce eye-catching, on-brand assets.
• Oversee the content calendar to ensure alignment with campaigns, product launches, and significant cultural events.
• Foster community engagement through effective management of comments, direct messages, and conversations.
• Spot trends, memes, and cultural phenomena to create timely and relevant content.
• Work alongside the Growth team to experiment with paid amplification, whitelisting, and creator collaborations.
• Coordinate with PR and Partnerships for influencer and celebrity collaborations.
• Analyze performance metrics, generate reports, and optimize strategies based on engagement, reach, shares, share of voice (SOV), and conversion indicators.
• Assist with lifecycle and cross-channel content needs, including email, SMS, and landing pages, as required.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in managing and enhancing social media for a brand.
• Demonstrated ability to create content that fosters engagement, growth, and subscriptions.
• In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video trends.
• Strong creative instincts with the ability to discern what performs well versus what merely looks appealing.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Growth, Creative, Product, and PR teams.
• Data-driven mindset, adept at utilizing insights for rapid iterations.
• Capability to work swiftly, test ideas, learn, and adapt within a fast-paced growth environment.
• Openness to taking risks, disrupting norms, and exploring new concepts.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.
• Proficient writing and communication skills, with a keen attention to tone and brand voice.
• Nice to Haves: Experience in consumer, health, pet, or subscription sectors.
• Background in influencer/creator partnerships and whitelisting.
• Familiarity with performance marketing and paid social strategies.
• Experience in launching or expanding a brand’s social media presence.
