Social Media Community Management Intern – Reddit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee three distinct Reddit accounts associated with our brands.

• Generate and publish 2–3 Reddit posts weekly for each brand.

• Engage with Reddit users by responding to comments in alignment with brand guidelines.

• Foster discussions and connect with community members through comments, upvotes, and other forms of engagement.

• Conduct research on relevant subreddits and trending topics.

• Formulate tailored Reddit strategies for each brand.

• Collaborate with our external contractor on content planning, meetings, and monthly reporting.

• Monitor Reddit activities and pinpoint opportunities to enhance user engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Thorough understanding of Reddit, its communities, and the associated platform etiquette.

• Awareness of current online and social media trends.

• Capability to identify pertinent conversations and respond promptly with brand-aligned content.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with emotional intelligence.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Active Reddit user with insight into the functioning of different communities.

• Previous experience in managing or growing social media accounts for a brand, company, organization, or campus group.

• Demonstrated experience in content creation and engaging with online communities across various social media platforms.

• Genuine interest in social media, community management, or digital marketing.

• Understanding of the increasing significance of Reddit in AI search and online discovery.
