SOC Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Monitoring and analyzing security events to identify and detect potential threats.

• Responding to security incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

• Analyzing system, application, and network logs to identify abnormalities.

• Creating, maintaining, and optimizing detection rules within security systems.

• Implementing, configuring, and maintaining security tools (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and others).

• Automating security processes by developing scripts and integrating systems.

• Identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities and collaborating on their remediation.

• Working with IT teams to implement security measures and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Producing technical documentation and developing security procedures and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a SOC / DevSecOps / Security Engineering role or a similar position.

• Experience in SOC, Security Operations, or Security Engineering.

• Practical knowledge of security tools (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS).

• Ability to analyze logs, detect threats, and respond to incidents.

• Hands-on engineering skills in implementing, configuring, and maintaining security tools and systems.

• Familiarity with Python, Bash, or PowerShell and the ability to automate tasks.

• Knowledge of Linux, MacOS, and Windows systems, computer networks, and communication protocols.

• Proficiency in working with APIs and system integrations.

• Independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in crisis situations.

• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level.
