This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assess the current state of the AWS Landing Zone, identifying operational, governance, and security gaps.

• Define the target Cloud Operations Model and Cloud Security Maturity Model, including capabilities, processes, controls, metrics, and improvement plans.

• Design roadmaps for the advancement of governance, observability, automation, resilience, and cloud security capabilities.

• Align the models with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices in technology governance.

• Establish guidelines, standards, and architectural decisions that promote standardization, operational efficiency, security, and continuous improvement of the platform.

• Document the architecture and cloud governance guidelines for adoption by technical and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technology and at least 3 years with AWS, preferably in enterprise production environments.

• Strong experience with Landing Zones, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, networking, security, observability, and shared services.

• Knowledge of cloud governance, risk management, security controls, business continuity, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience in defining operational models, assessing maturity, and building technology roadmaps.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture (preferably TOGAF) and frameworks such as AWS Well-Architected, AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and ITIL/SRE.

• Experience in architecture documentation, defining technical standards, and developing governance guidelines.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional preferred.

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty preferred.

• AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate preferred.

• TOGAF Enterprise Architecture certification preferred.

• Knowledge or certifications in Azure or Google Cloud preferred.
