SOC 2 Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Conducting auditing services pertaining to security, compliance, and attestation.

• Manages the daily operations of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).

• Assess the design and efficiency of technology controls.

• Recognizes and conveys IT audit findings to management.

• Assist in pinpointing opportunities for performance enhancement for designated clients.

• Engage in effective communication with clients and team members.

• Take part in client meetings and nurture client relationships through proactive dialogue.

• Oversee and manage the performance of IT audit personnel assigned to specific engagements.

• Deliver weekly status updates to management.

• Communicate proactively with management about any potential issues.

• Provide training for staff within the IT audit team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or similar audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is advantageous.

• Candidates must have an active certification or be pursuing CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• A strong level of motivation.

• Bilingual proficiency in English.
