SOC 2 Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• The Manager's position involves overseeing client engagements and managing internal activities related to SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HIPAA assessments, and external audits pertaining to various security and privacy frameworks/standards.

• Provides auditing services focusing on security, compliance, and attestation services.

• Conducts daily operations of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).

• Assesses the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

• Discovers and communicates IT audit findings to management.

• Aids in identifying opportunities for performance enhancements for designated clients.

• Engages in effective communication with clients and team members.

• Participates in client meetings and nurtures client relationships through proactive communication.

• Oversees and manages the performance of IT audit staff involved in assigned engagements.

• Delivers weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively informs management about any potential issues.

• Provides training to team members within the IT audit department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (such as Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is advantageous.

• Candidates should possess or be working towards CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Bilingual proficiency in English is required.
