This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for incidents from detection to resolution, coordinating with internal teams and clients as necessary.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate security, network, systems, and cloud-related challenges within designated areas of responsibility.

• Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint underlying issues of incidents and suggest corrective measures.

• Act as an escalation point for unresolved alerts and incidents within your primary technical specialization.

• Guide and support SNOC Engineer I team members by imparting knowledge and aiding with their technical growth.

• Develop, revise, and improve operational documentation, such as standard operating procedures, investigation guides, and knowledge base articles.

• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to facilitate the implementation and integration of new technologies.

• Recognize recurring operational challenges and propose process enhancements to improve reliability, efficiency, and service quality.

• Assist in security and compliance efforts by ensuring operational activities are in alignment with frameworks like CMMC, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in SOC, NOC, IT support, infrastructure operations, or similar technical support environments.

• Strong grasp of common cyber threats and attack methods, such as phishing, malware, brute-force attacks, and lateral movement.

• Familiarity with incident response protocols, alert triage, containment, escalation, and investigation workflows.

• Proficient in routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and essential networking protocols.

• Experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux environments.

• Knowledge of SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, alert management systems, or security operations technologies.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities with the ability to independently resolve technical challenges.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, including incident documentation and technical reporting.

• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic operational setting.

• Team-oriented mentality with a dedication to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Experience in a multi-client or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is an asset.
