Senior Network Operations Center Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• The Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager is tasked with overseeing and guiding their team to ensure a consistent standard of quality and service in support of client systems.

• The ideal candidate will provide proficient leadership, strategic direction, and follow-up that aligns with the overarching objectives of the company.

• This position demands a proactive, self-motivated leader who can continuously train and educate team members on standards related to people, processes, and technology, all while maintaining client satisfaction and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent technical experience is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant management or leadership experience is necessary.

• At least 5 years of IT experience supporting customer environments is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and working with technologies such as Windows Server, cloud environments (including Microsoft 365), Active Directory, GPOs, routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, virus and security measures, LAN/WAN technologies, and virtualization technologies.

• Experience in supporting infrastructure environments is essential.

• Familiarity with IT service delivery and managing customer expectations is required.

• Proven experience in incident, problem, and change management is necessary.

• Exceptional ability to present information clearly and concisely to senior management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must, with the ability to forge effective working relationships, foster cooperation, and resolve conflicts with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Experience in business analysis along with a solid understanding of financial concepts is required.

• Outstanding client service skills, with the capability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues, while remaining composed in high-pressure situations.

• Consistent achievement of KPI goals in the current role.
