SME, Accounts Payable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee the weekly payment cycle, beginning with the creation of payment proposals for all invoices that are due and ready for payment.

• Validate payment proposals to ensure the accuracy and completeness of invoice details, confirming which invoices are to be paid.

• Assemble payment groups from validated proposals, ensuring correct categorization by company code and client.

• Collaborate with relevant teams for a multi-tier review and approval process of payment groups.

• Upload approved payment files to the bank portal, obtain authorization from bank approvers, and verify the release of payments.

• Update payment statuses within ERP systems and ensure that automatic remittance advice is sent to suppliers.

• Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all payment batches, including approvals and exceptions.

• Address urgent payment requests within defined turnaround times (TAT).

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, segregation of duties, and escalation procedures.

• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to payments.

• Coordinate with the AP Query team, Supplier Onboarding, and other stakeholders for issue resolution and process enhancements.
