SME – Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the activities related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.

• Record journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and necessary adjustments.

• Conduct reconciliations for balance sheets and inter-company transactions.

• Manage fixed assets, lease accounting, and the processes related to depreciation.

• Execute accounting entries associated with bank transactions, payroll, prepaid expenses, and other expenses.

• Develop audit schedules, conduct variance analyses, and prepare financial reports.

• Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP standards and maintain internal controls.

• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and initiatives aimed at process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or a comparable finance credential.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Month-End Closing.

• Proficiency in journal entries, reconciliations, inter-company accounting, and variance analysis.
