Small Business Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for small business clients, ensuring prompt and professional communication through phone and email.

• Examine, assess, and detail commercial insurance policies to verify accuracy and adequate coverage.

• Create audit check spreadsheets across various lines of coverage.

• Record policies and client interactions within Applied Epic (preferred) or comparable agency management systems.

• Complete policy billing templates and collaborate with our Accounting team to guarantee timely processing.

• Request renewal information, market accounts, and engage with carriers to obtain competitive quotes.

• Prepare and deliver renewal and new business proposals to clients.

• Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property, auto ID cards, and endorsements.

• Review endorsements, audits, and policies for correctness prior to delivery to clients.

• Work closely with producers, carriers, and internal team members to ensure a seamless client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in the insurance industry.

• Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages across multiple lines.

• Experience in supporting or managing a portfolio of business (approximately 150–350 accounts).

• Comfort with using Applied Epic (preferred) or AMS360.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

• Strong, professional communication skills with a service-oriented approach.

• Active Property & Casualty license in your state of residence.
