This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee the solution design for the implementation of our corporate website using Sitecore, as well as manage future upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Set architectural standards, development practices, and best practices for Sitecore Cloud, Sitecore ContentHub, Sitecore Search, Vercel, .NET, APIs, security, performance, and deployment.
• Define the web operating model and governance in collaboration with Marketing, IT, and external partners alongside functional leaders.
• Support development teams through technical design reviews, code quality expectations, environment strategy, and release planning.
• Create integrations and data models with enterprise systems such as CRM, CDP, analytics, identity solutions, and marketing automation platforms.
• Make decisions regarding cloud architecture for hosting, scalability, resilience, monitoring, and cost optimization, primarily in Azure environments.
• Assess and suggest tools, frameworks, and platform capabilities to enhance speed, flexibility, maintainability, discoverability, and user experience.
• Diagnose complex technical problems and oversee system reliability, performance, and security.
• Mentor developers and act as the senior technical advisor for initiatives related to Sitecore.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or 14 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in defining end-to-end architecture for digital platforms based on Sitecore.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Sitecore architecture and implementation.
• Familiarity with Sitecore Helix principles, headless development models, and composable DXP approaches.
• Experience in implementing and administering Sitecore Content Hub, Sitecore Search, and Sitecore Experience Edge.
• Proficient in working with Sitecore REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern front-end integration patterns.
• Experience using Git with Vercel CI/CD deployments.
• Proven ability to manage and address website security vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of CMS governance, content modeling, personalization, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of SEO/AEO/GEO impacts and concepts.
• Demonstrated experience integrating Sitecore with third-party and enterprise systems, including consent management platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly.
