This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee on-site management of commercial and retail tenant improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain project schedules, ensure subcontractors remain on task, and oversee quality control measures.
• Proactively address project delays, adverse weather conditions, or other unexpected challenges.
• Achieve project outcomes by setting standards and protocols, coordinating and scheduling subcontractors, and adjusting timelines as necessary.
• Foster a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing established standards and procedures, in compliance with legal regulations.
• Ensure job sites are kept clean and organized.
• Guarantee proper signage is consistently displayed at job sites.
• Interface with clients, maintaining a professional appearance and communicating effectively and clearly when clients visit the job site.
• Avoid fines and disruptions by ensuring compliance with codes and enforcing them accordingly.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and General Site Superintendent to secure client approval for any field change orders.
• Provide daily project status updates to the Project Manager/General Site Superintendent and escalate issues as necessary.
• Post daily updates on our online project management (OPM) website, reflecting the current status of job site progress.
• Conduct strong job close-out processes, participating in punch walk-throughs with clients to ensure the site is delivered 100% complete and to their satisfaction.
• Attend job walks and site visits for potential new projects as required.
• Oversee up to 5 subcontractors and manage trade crews.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of multi-trade experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient computer skills with experience in standard software applications, including email.
• Experience in job scheduling and the ability to read and comprehend blueprints and construction intent.
• A clean driving record is essential, along with a willingness to travel.
• Experience in the retail construction industry is advantageous, particularly regarding commercial tenant improvement build-outs and remodels.
