Site Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily activities and operations at the job site for construction projects.

• Ensure quality control for the entire project.

• Lead the subcontractor team effectively.

• Evaluate the project plans and specifications thoroughly.

• Develop, manage, and revise the project schedule, including determining the order of work and scheduling all material deliveries (overall, one-week, and three-week look-ahead).

• Facilitate weekly safety meetings to guarantee that safety protocols are understood and adhered to.

• Respond to safety concerns on the job site as they occur and report any incidents to all relevant parties.

• Complete necessary documentation responsibilities, including daily logs of field activities.

• Manage site logistics, coordinate material deliveries, sequence subcontractors' work, and arrange site visit inspection requests.

• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

• Monitor onsite expenses related to General Conditions (including small tools, rentals, dumpsters, heating, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.

• Must reside in Southern California.

• Excellent computer proficiency, with experience in standard software packages, including Microsoft Office/Outlook.

• Must have job scheduling experience; ability to read and comprehend blueprints and construction intent is essential.

• Clean driving record required, along with a willingness to travel.

• Experience in any of the following sectors: retail, restaurant, banking, education.

• Extensive experience in high-level, ground-up/tilt-up construction.
